Qualified Instructors
My name is Mike Trimmer and I have been a certified driving instructor for 15+ years. I have extensive experience training high school and adult students. I am able to administer the End of Course Skills Test (aka driving exam) for students at the school/schools that I have a contract with. If a student does not attend one of my schools, then I will schedule and take to Penn Dot for their driving road test. There is a $50.00 cancellation fee for lessons.
Requirements for Driving
In order to be eligible to drive, you must first have obtained a PA Drivers Learners Permit. This can be done at any PennDot Testing center.
The online 30 hour theory class can be completed anytime prior to a driving exam. I recommend that within 60 days of turning 16, that the student sign up for the class and complete it prior to taking the Penn Dot driving permit test. Information in the Virtual Drive program will be beneficial for taking the permit test.

The cost of this program is $49 and is paid directly to Safe 2 Drive.
The 6 Hour Behind-the-Wheel driver training cost is $450..00. This is paid to 5 Star Driver Training School, LLC.
In order to be given a Certificate of Completion, the student has to complete both the 30 Hour Theory Class as well as the 6 Hours of Behind-the-Wheel training.
